About Biblical Counseling...
At New Heart Biblical Counseling and Soul Care, I am dedicated to provide Biblical counsel and discipling that addresses the matters of the heart. I'm committed to walk alongside those who are hurting, broken, stuck and suffering. The LORD Himself describes His role as the Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 1:9) and it's my heart to point you to Him. He is the remedy for all of the problems we face in life. The Bible tells us that 'His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him' (2 Peter 1:3a NKJV). My approach embraces this truth and my heart is that you come to love Him, know Him, obey Him, serve Him, and live for Him. I will counsel God's way by being biblically based, Christ centered and Christ honoring. I hold fast to the sufficiency of Christ and the Bible by the power of the Holy Spirit as the means to a transformed life, renewed mind and ultimately a new heart. "I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36:26. This transformation is only available to any of us through Jesus Christ. Are ready to make a change, overcome strongholds, untether yourself from the past, and live your life with meaning, purpose and hope? If so, please reach out to me.

Biblical answers for life's problems:
Anxiety
Anxiety is so prevalent among both believers and non-believers. However, the Christ-follower mustn't forget that they can have victory over their anxiety.
Depression
We learn from the Bible that many people battled with depression. David, especially, poured his heart out to the Lord many times over his downcast soul. But, He also knew how to find joy in the Lord amidst his depression.
Relationship issues
To be in relationship with others is how God wired us. But, that doesn't mean they are easy. How do we learn to love those who are simply put...difficult to love?
Suffering
We all go through trials in this life and suffer hardship. God is faithful to finish the work He has begun in us. He often uses these hardship as the workroom for our lives to be radically changed. He uses these things to grow us in His grace. This process is called progressive sanctification.
Trauma
If you read the Bible you will find many who suffered at the hand of traumatic experiences. We all from time to time experience trauma. Paul listed all the things he went through in Acts and the man went through things that honestly wouldn't have left him completely broken, but we learn that he boasted in his infirmities. How is that possible and why would he do that?
"Stuckness"
Do you live in a perpetual state of neutral and do not know how to put your life in drive? Do you feel a lack of purpose and meaning? Do you have a hard time living in today?
